The Synagogue in Trani, Italy is a new sign of the Jewish life that once was in Bari, in the Puglia region of Italy.
The old Synagogue Scola Nova, was recently returned to its original use as a Synagogue, it has been used for other religions through the years. I was fortunate to have had the zechut to have visited and prayed there. There is a great feeling of relevance when you realize that many great people have stood in the same building and prayed and many have suffered al Kiddush HaShem.
I do apologize for asking Rabbi Laras if he also came to hear Rabbi Laras speak, I did not know he was the famous Rabbi Laras although I did see him at all the Shabbat prayers in Milan.
The photographs show the interior of the Scola Nova Synagogue, originally built as a Synagoga (Italian English spelling) in the middle ages as well as the exterior and the nearby street sign.
